DOL: Department of Labour Up one level DOL is the lead department in government on issues of child labour, and on implementation of the Child Labour Programme of Action (CLPA). It also carries primary responsibility for enforcement of basic legal provisions on child labour, and on health and safety at work. TECL-DOL Final letter re closure of TECL I (17 June 2008) This letter summarises the process of TECL I exit. An attachment sets out the proposed / agreed action steps to be taken by the DOL to address issues of child labour regarding TECL I exit, linked to the Child Labour Programme of Action (CLPA-2).
