Extending the CSG up to 18
Up one levelThe Child Labour Programme of Action provides that the government will consider extending the child support grant (an un-conditional cash transfer) to children up to age 18. The Minister of Finance announced in Feb 2008 that cut-off for the grant it will be extended from 14 to 15 years. Civil society has also run a campaign for extension to children up to 18 years.
