Best projects on child labour and education
Guidelines on how to design and analyse projects on child labour and education - and more!
In April 2008 Winrock International published Best practices
in preventing and eliminating child labor through
education.
It is designed to assist local community-based and non-governmental organizations in planning or analyzing their own projects, and to support the role of national and international development networks. It also presents CIRCLE (Community-based Innovations for the Reduction of Child Labour through Education) as a best practice for donor organizations and major international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that fund these types of activities.
The author is Nick Grisewood, a key designer of IPEC’s SCREAM programme. Winrock is a grantee of the US
DOL’s Education Initiative, which runs the CIRCLE programme.
