The worst forms of child labour, as defined in ILO convention 182, include child trafficking, children used to commit crime, the prostitution of children and other forms of hazardous work.
Economic sectors within which children work
For example agriculture, domestic work, waste picking and scavenging, and performing arts.
Non-economic work
Including begging, and domestic chores such as water fetching (unless done outside the childs own household).
Policy areas and themes
Including HIV/AIDS, poverty alleviation, child protection and enforcement of laws.
